Donald Trump has tapped into the emotional reactions of a minority of the American population who are frustrated with events.
Unfortunately, Mr. Trump has created or encouraged actions which can damage the country severely, if he is elected. His rhetoric ignores core American values and traditions - whether through ignorance of our values or contempt for them is irrelevant. We see anger, violence and intolerance on a large scale in our Presidential election. He also displays a startling level of ignorance about the real world.
The results of his exhortations may create a toxic political atmosphere which will work to the advantage of foreign terrorists.
