So, what did it accomplish? Basically it served to damage the population's trust in our shared purpose. The additional doubt thus created hampers our national purpose.

The continuing drama of this Presidency will erode our national will until trump is finally gone and a new administration works to re-create our national will.

We will find that again, but in the meantime, Putin and Derepaska are helped in their activities to loot our treasure and our will.
