I am taking the unusual step of posting an unfinished and unedited work on the economy of Tunisia in the middle of a revolution because of the rapidly developing events in North Africa. It is unusual for an economic analysis to be performed as a revolution is taking hold of the country.

Perhaps some analysts will find the raw study of interest, bearing in mind that it will be updated as it is revised.
